Very pleased by the progress they were now making the band decided to release another of Scolerskimbals new tracks, "Queen mother", a much changed re-mix of the c**p "Missing you" on February 2oth. For some reason a lot of people thought that the song was a very offensive dig at a "much loved" public figure. Deen was the first to admit "we aren't exactly pro-monarchy, in fact maybe you could say we absolutely f**king hate them". Release was again banned, although we here at the official DEATHSQUAD site have obtained the CD through the black market. Scolerskimbal was absolutely distraught at the loss of one of his best compositions through censorship. Deen helped him through the tough times however rehabilitating him so that he could complete his other material. Tactfully the band decided to release The killer's song "Get up" on Saint Davids day - March 1st. Again the single was banned, being described as tasteless. "What the f**k are they on about?" Deen was heard to have screamed when the news was delivered to him. The killer just could not understand what they had done to deserve this. "It wasn't that bad, was it?" Although it was all very hard to take, somehow DEATHSQUAD found the strength to move on. Some how we obtained the single.
The band went through a very rough patch only weeks later when Angel decided he wanted "Punkers" to be released as a single. The rest of the band thought the song was great, but just not the kind of song to be released as a single. Even The killer who had co-written the song with Angel didn't seem too pleased with the idea. Angel stormed out of one of the band meetings and was claimed to have said he "hated everyone in the band" and he "hoped they all died the next day", which he tried to put into practice by igniting Deens house with a load of four star and lynx deodrant, but unfortunately this did not work. Deen often used to piss out of his bedroom window, because he couldn't be bothered to go to the toilet, and just as the flames were starting to rise, Deens urine put the fire out. Angel was rather embarrased about his bad behaviour and soon returned to the band and gave each one of them a written apology and a gift to show how sorry he really was. Angel was still pissed off about "Punkers not being released however and it remained a very dodgy subject for the band.
The band decided not to release any more singles and eventually they released their thirteen track L.P "Vile Perversity of Unorthodox hatred" on the seventeenth of April. The band lined up a gig to be played on Easter day in a local church and the day after they were due to fly out and do a tour of Pakistan. Despite being longer even than "Total thirteen" by the Backyard Babies and a tasteful album cover the album was not very successful. You can't win them all though, hey.
