The next gig lined up by Deen was on the 23rd in an empty warehouse near Abergavenny's beautiful castle meadows. The gig was not actually authorised by the warehouse owners and so was illegal and also didn't have any security. The band had to arrive early to set up equipment and were not pleasantly suprised to discover that the warehouse was populated by large numbers of rats who occasionally started gnawing at cables. Deen had a huge banner made with the words DEATHSQUAD written on it to hang above the band as they played. About two hundred tickets had been sold and since this represented pure profit Deen had decided to donate most of the funds to help children in third world countries. Scheduled to begin at 8:00 the band were delayed by the destruction of the lead from Angel's bass guitar by rats as they had to search out the problem and replace the lead. This was a bad sign of what was about to come.
DEATHSQUAD kicked off the night with a particularly aggressive "six shades", the sheer volume of the performance causing Scolerskimbals eyes and nose to run with blood which dyed his white vest red. The energy of the performance hyped up an already very excited crowd who were then hit with the somewhat bizzarre "Real world" and then "Child". As the band were reaching the end of "Child" and preparing to calm it down for a bit with some of their lighter songs however, a rat which had somehow got inside The killer's amp, gnawed on a vital wire causing a mini explosion. The audience screamed in terror as a flaming rat was blasted into their midst from the amp followed by a burst of flame. The flames caught Deens banner which burned very quickly and blew across into the crowd. Some people were terrified and fled the venue but many thought that it was all part of the show. To save face Deen embarked on a massive drum solo which kept everyone going while the rest of the band reorganised the equipment in order to carry on the gig. It was a good gig with a good crowd and only, when again finishing off with "Pakistan" did things go funny again. Rats had been gnawing at Deens shoes all through the gig and one finally got through and bit his foot. Deen went mad and, abandoning his drums grabbed the rat and bit a huge piece out of it in retaliation. Unwisely he threw the body of the rat into the crowd hitting a really hard dudes girlfriend. The dude and his gang leapt onto the stage to fight. Deen said "I'll handle this, you guys know the drill. GO GO GO!". The hall emptied as people fled in horror of what Deen was doing to the gang. The cops then appeared to close down the illegal gig and Deen had to leap through the window of the moving car which Scolerskimbal was driving to avoid arrest.
In the event the band donated no money to charity as they had to spend all of the money replacing the amp that the rats had destroyed. Fourteen people suffered minor injuries in the fire. The five men beaten up by Deen gave a description to the police and a photo-fit was issued which never came to anything. The band celebrated later at the pub.
